What moves between PrestaShop and Magistry
SYNCS INTO MAGISTRY
- Products and combinations (variants), with option names and categories.
- Stock per product and combination.
- The consumer price PrestaShop computes at checkout, rebuilt from tax rules and specific prices.
- Shop settings that govern price, stock and weight (default shop, currency, country, tax, rounding, stock management).
MAGISTRY CAN CHANGE
Nothing. PrestaShop is connect-only: Magistry reads it and writes nothing back.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
- Change anything in your shop: there is no write method and the key carries GET permissions only.
- Store your orders or customers yet: the client reads them, the sync does not persist them.
- Read customer password hashes or secure keys: orders and customers are read with an explicit field list.
- Write prices when a price input (taxes, tax rules, specific prices) was only partly read; that run ends before writing.
- Put PrestaShop products in the shopping feed yet: no product URL is read.
