// careers

Build the ledger for autonomous commerce.

Small team, real systems, opinionated work. We are looking for the kind of people who would rather ship a decision row than a slide about one.

// how we work

The four defaults we re-explain every onboarding.

They are not posters on the wall. They are how we plan the week, how we cut scope, and how we resolve the disagreements that the engineers and the operators inevitably have.

Async-first

Two anchored hours of overlap per day, the rest is yours. Decisions land in writing on the decision_log channel, not in a call you missed because you were sleeping.

Build-then-write

We prefer a working diff over a Figma frame. Every product person ships code, every engineer drafts copy, every designer reads logs. The seams between disciplines stay thin on purpose.

Operator dogfooding

Half the company spends one day a week shadowing a live customer. You will sit in CS triage, watch a budget shift, and feel where the seams chafe before the next sprint plans them away.

Ship to learn

We shipped the first kill switch the same week we shipped the first agent. We will never build for six months in a darkroom — autonomy needs operators in the loop, and operators need surface area to push back on.

// open roles

Nine roles, today.

Every role here is funded, scoped, and waiting for the right person. Apply with a paragraph, not a CV — though we will read the CV too.
Most roles are remote-EU.
Four interview stages, two-week target.
No take-home traps — paid project on a real diff.

// benefits

The structural stuff.

We will not list snacks. We will list the things that compound.

Top-of-band comp

We benchmark against EU + US Series A startups twice a year and pay the top quartile. Cash plus meaningful equity, no tricks.

Hardware budget

Six thousand euros over your first two years to set up the workstation you actually want. Refreshed every 36 months.

Annual offsite

One full week, one rented house, one shared kitchen. We pay for travel, meals, and a day with no Slack.

Time-off floor

Thirty days of paid leave plus public holidays in your country. We track a floor, not a ceiling. The founders take all of theirs.

Health coverage

Top-tier private health insurance for you, your partner, and your dependents. Mental health support included, never gate-kept.

Learning budget

Two thousand five hundred euros a year for books, courses, conferences, or a coach. No approval workflow — you decide, we reimburse.

// hiring process

What four stages and two weeks actually look like.

01

Intro

45 minutes with a founder. We talk about what you have built and what you want to build next.

02

Craft

Paid two-day project on a real diff or canvas — we agree the scope first, no surprises.

03

Team day

Half a day with the team you would join. Two technical conversations, one product conversation.

04

Offer

Two references, then numbers. We commit to a written offer inside a week of stage three.

Do not see your role? Pitch us.

If you can describe in two paragraphs what you would build at Magistry and why we should fund it, that is the start of a real conversation. We have opened roles from inbound pitches before.
