// what magistry does with it
What Magistry does with Email — IMAP & Outlook
Any IMAP mailbox — Gmail and Google Workspace included — or a Microsoft Outlook mailbox; your existing support address keeps working.
Incoming mail is synced into threads, classified and matched to the order it is about.
Replies drafted from your store's policies and the order's data, sent from your address under the approval settings you choose.
Return requests handled in the helpdesk.
When a mailbox is first connected, the past year of mail is read in, sent mail included, so earlier conversations are already threaded. You can set that window anywhere from 30 days to three years.
After that, new mail is fetched every two to five minutes.

Common questions
Does it work with Gmail?
Yes, over IMAP. Gmail and Google Workspace mailboxes connect with IMAP and SMTP details; there is no separate Gmail sign-in.
Will the AI send replies without my approval?
Only the kinds of reply you allowed. Everything else is a draft you review first.
What if the mailbox stops syncing?
A health check runs every 15 minutes. It restarts a first import that got stuck, puts back a mailbox's sync schedule if it went missing, and tests the server connection of a mailbox that has gone quiet, so its status shows whether mail is really coming in.
