Connect bol to Magistry

Connect your bol seller account and Magistry reads offers, orders, returns and performance; offer and order changes go out only when you press them.

What Magistry does with bol

Offers, orders, shipments and returns synced from the bol Retailer API.

Performance, buy-box share, commissions and invoices read per offer.

Price, stock, content and shipping changes sent only from a button you press, after a preview.

What moves between bol and Magistry

Connection: API client id + client secret (OAuth2 client credentials).

SYNCS INTO MAGISTRY

  • Your bol offers per country: price, stock, on-hold status and whether each is for sale, matched to your products by EAN and your own reference.
  • Orders, their shipments and returns (handled and unhandled).
  • Performance indicators and retailer rating, per-offer visits and buy-box share, 12-week sales forecasts, search ranks and search-term volumes.
  • Commissions per offer, bol invoices and their line-by-line specification.
  • What a buyer sees on the listing: promotions you are invited into, star ratings, price-star boundaries, competing offers and the buy box, product placement, not-for-sale reasons, and buyers' invoice requests.
  • Fulfilment by bol (LVB/FBB): stock held at bol's warehouse and your replenishments.

MAGISTRY CAN CHANGE

  • Change an offer's price, stock or on-hold flag, create a new offer on an existing EAN, or delete an offer. Only from a button the merchant presses in the dashboard (no agent may own this field), with a preview first; off per store until switched on.
  • Update product content attributes (title, description and other bol attributes) on products bol already knows. Merchant-initiated only, previewed, off per store until switched on, and confirmed from bol's upload report.
  • Ship an order (own carrier with track-and-trace or a bought bol label) and buy a shipping label. Only after the merchant reviews the exact request in the order cockpit; sent exactly once.
  • Cancel an order item, handle a return, register a return, or change a shipment's carrier — merchant-confirmed, and each behind a per-store switch that is off by default.
  • Upload an invoice PDF in answer to a buyer's invoice request, after the merchant opens the exact PDF; off per store by default.
  • Create, cancel, reschedule or change an LVB/FBB replenishment, after the merchant reviews it; off per store by default.
  • Turn on order notifications: registers a push subscription on your bol account so new orders arrive within minutes.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO

  • Let an AI agent change your bol offers: offer fields can only be owned by the merchant (operator), enforced in the database.
  • Act on orders, returns or replenishments on its own: no agent, schedule or retry sends them.
  • Create brand-new products on bol through content updates (only products bol already knows).
  • Remove an attribute value entirely when undoing a content change; an upload must carry at least one value.
  • Change stock for offers fulfilled by bol (FBB); bol owns that stock.

How to connect bol

Connections happen in the dashboard. No agent writes to bol: every change is one you press yourself.
  1. 1In your bol seller account, open Settings → API settings.
  2. 2Create credentials for the Retailer API and copy the client id and secret.
  3. 3Paste them into Magistry's bol settings page; Magistry checks them with bol (by requesting a token) before saving them encrypted.
  4. 4Optionally turn on order notifications so new orders arrive within minutes instead of at the hourly sync.

Common questions

Can an AI agent change my bol offers?

No. Offer fields can only be owned by the merchant, which the database enforces, so every offer change is your own press.

What does Magistry need from bol?

Retailer API credentials, created under Settings → API settings in your bol seller account. Magistry checks them with bol before it saves them.

Does it cover bol advertising too?

Yes, as a separate connection with its own Advertising API credentials. See the bol Ads page.
