Taboola and Magistry
Taboola is connected and steered by Magistry's agents: campaigns, items and daily performance sync in, and campaigns, items and daily caps can be set.
Status: Built and steered by Magistry's agents, and connectable from Settings → Integrations, but not live yet: no store has connected Taboola, so there are no Taboola results to report.

What moves between Taboola and Magistry
SYNCS INTO MAGISTRY
- Campaigns with their on/off flag, delivery status, daily cap and period spending limit (kept separate so a monthly cap is never shown as daily).
- Campaign items (the native ads), with title, landing URL, thumbnail and status.
- Daily campaign performance: impressions, clicks, spend, conversions and conversion value.
MAGISTRY CAN CHANGE
- Pause or resume a campaign; the platform's answer is checked against the flag asked for.
- Set a campaign's daily cap, refusing to record it as applied unless Taboola reports back the same amount.
- Pause or resume an individual campaign item.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
- Edit an item's title, description or thumbnail; no documented update path was found.
- Create campaigns or items.
- Manage keywords, or block publisher sites; Taboola has no keywords and site blocking is not built.
- Change bids, bid strategy or per-site bid modifiers.
- Remove (terminate) a campaign; only pause and resume are written.

How to connect Taboola
- 1In Magistry, open Settings → Integrations and find the Taboola card, then press Connect.
- 2Ask your Taboola account manager for Backstage API credentials for your advertiser account.
- 3Enter the client id, client secret and account id (the account name shown in Taboola Ads).
- 4Magistry makes the same read its sync makes and saves the credentials only if the platform answers; nothing is written to the platform during this check.
- 5Once saved, the platform is added to the store's active ad platforms so the regular ads sync starts reading it.

Common questions
Does Magistry edit my Taboola ads?
No. Titles, thumbnails and bids stay in Taboola. Magistry pauses or resumes campaigns and items and sets daily caps.
