Messages that stall the AI are now handed to a person sooner

If the AI has already tried to plan a reply to a customer message twice without success, that conversation is now escalated to your team instead of being retried endlessly. A new message from the customer resets this so the AI can try again.

Fewer unnecessary approval clicks for creative remakes

Remakes that successfully replace background extras or other people now pass automated review and render automatically, instead of always stopping for a manual approval click.

25 Oct 2026NEWMARKETING BRAIN

Remake a video with direction, QA and cost shown upfront

Remaking a video is now available from New design, where you can give a scene, direction and per-shot notes, choose draft or final quality, and keep the video's own people if you want. A QA panel lets you review and approve each shot before the final render, and the full credit cost is shown before you commit.

25 Oct 2026IMPROVEDADS

Remake controls now show the right platform name

The remake creative controls now correctly display the platform label and show a disabled state when remaking isn't available, instead of a generic or inaccurate control.

24 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Market Expert panel now shows your real active sources

The Market Expert panel on the agent page now displays the platform sources actually feeding your insights, instead of configuration controls that had no effect. Four data feeds that never produced usable results have also been turned off.

24 Oct 2026IMPROVEDCATALOG

Generated titles now match your store's own branding style

Magistry now looks at your store's existing product titles to decide whether a brand name belongs in generated titles, instead of always including it. If your titles don't typically carry a brand name, new ones won't either.

24 Oct 2026IMPROVEDCATALOG

Imported product images now get clean file names and alt text

Images brought in from other stores are renamed to match your own catalog instead of keeping the original seller's file names, and get alt text filled in automatically. Imported product titles are also rewritten to match the style of your store's existing live titles, so a source store's brand name no longer leaks into your catalog.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Better print placement on garment remakes

Remade product shots now ask for printed designs to follow the fabric's folds and lighting without a pasted-on outline, and to keep a steady size from shot to shot.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDCATALOG

Thin collections are automatically folded during launch

When your catalog is set up, collections that are too thin to stand on their own are now automatically merged into a parent or sibling collection instead of being left as an unresolved issue. Your storefront menus build from the resulting, cleaner set of collections.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Remade video ads with a person swap keep one consistent person

When the person swap is switched on for a remake, the same face carries across cuts instead of a different one after each cut, and shots are split with visible seams only when they need it. Captions now follow the style described in the source instead of a generic bold font.

23 Oct 2026NEWMARKETING BRAIN

Start a remake from a benchmark reel already saved

Our team can now start a remake for you from a reel already saved in your benchmark corpus, instead of fetching it again. Magistry copies it into the remake so it stays available for later remakes. Starting one this way is not yet a button in the app.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Service hours now display correctly in your store's own clock

Service hours in the launch brief are now tracked per day and shown using the correct 12- or 24-hour clock and timezone for your market, instead of defaulting to generic English text. You can edit hours for each day individually, and existing entries are automatically understood.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDWORKSPACE

Clearer wording on what's blocking launch

The launch wizard now describes what each step is waiting on in plain language, making it easier to understand what needs to happen before you can continue.

23 Oct 2026IMPROVEDCATALOG

Catalog pages load faster and fail more gracefully

Catalog pages now load consistently fast no matter how deep you page through a large catalog. If a catalog read ever fails, you'll see a clear unavailable message with an option to reload instead of a broken page.

22 Oct 2026NEWADS

Tell Magistry to stop advertising specific products

Magistry's Brain can now pull individual products out of Shopping and Performance Max ads while keeping them visible in free listings. Previously there was no way to act on a directive to stop advertising losing products across whole-feed campaigns; this closes that gap.

22 Oct 2026NEWMARKETING BRAIN

Ask Otto to propose any action for your approval

Otto can now propose any available store action as an approval card, which sits waiting until you choose Approve & run. Nothing executes automatically, giving you a safe way to review AI-suggested actions before they take effect.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDADS

Product exclusion rules now apply more precisely

The rule that excludes products from ads now works as its own independent control, with a narrower set of exceptions so it only skips the products it's meant to.

22 Oct 2026NEWCATALOGSHOPIFY STORES

Launch brief now supports stores with their own products

When setting up launch, you can now tell Magistry your products are your own rather than sourced from other shops. Stores with their own Shopify catalogue skip the competitor search and copy-import steps entirely and move straight to collections, menus and publishing.

22 Oct 2026NEWSTOREFRONTSHOPIFY STORES

Reconnect a GitHub repository you previously disconnected

If you disconnected a merchant-owned GitHub repository from theme sync, you can now reconnect it instead of setting up a new one. Reconnecting walks you through GitHub sign-in once and verifies the connection works before it is restored.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Remade ads now replace the original caption with your store name

When Magistry remakes an exact ad edit, it now removes the original creator's caption text and places your store's name in its spot instead.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Remade creative now swaps in your store name and a new person

When generating a remake, the caption is now replaced with your store name, and the main person in the footage can be swapped for a different generated person while others stay as in the original. The overlay text is also handled so names no longer print twice.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDADS

Better ChatGPT Ads event matching

The ChatGPT pixel now receives a hashed visitor identifier once consent is given, improving user data coverage on page view events so ad platform matching and reporting are more accurate.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDMARKETING BRAIN

Exact remakes now preserve the original video's action

Exact-board remakes now edit the original footage directly, swapping in only the new garment, instead of regenerating the scene from a text description. This keeps details the description would otherwise miss, like other people or camera framing, producing a more faithful remake.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDADS

Remade creative now captures people acting on and touching the subject

When recreating a reference ad, Magistry now recognizes a second person interacting with or touching the subject, not just the subject alone. Stills, motion prompts, and quality checks all account for this, so remakes that need a second actor are caught and reshot instead of passing with that person missing.

22 Oct 2026IMPROVEDWORKSPACESHOPIFY STORES

All Shopify admin steps now grouped on one launch stage

The launch checklist now lists every Shopify admin task together on the Shopify stage, so store owners can complete them all in one sitting instead of switching between stages.

22 Oct 2026NEWCUSTOMER SERVICE

Pick a reason when you reject a draft reply

When you reject an AI-drafted reply in the inbox, you can now tap a quick chip to say why, such as wrong facts or outdated info. It takes one click and helps the system learn from your feedback.

21 Oct 2026NEWADS

Rejected launch ads now get automatically repaired and resubmitted

When an ad is rejected during review, Magistry automatically rewrites the copy and resubmits it, keeping the same page, image, and budget. If it still fails after two attempts, the Brain is notified with the reviewer's reason so you know what happened. Magistry also watches for ads stuck in review or campaigns that have gone live but aren't delivering impressions.

21 Oct 2026NEWMARKETING BRAIN

Remake videos shot for shot, not just inspired by

Video remakes now default to an exact mode that recreates the same shots, cuts, and actions from the source video, with a quality check that automatically redoes any shot that doesn't match closely enough. The previous looser style is still available as Inspired by mode.
