// changelog

What we shipped, in plain language.

Every entry is written when the change ships, by the people who shipped it, and it is the same list the product shows inside your dashboard.

September 2026

18 Sept 2026NEWWORKSPACE

Require single sign-on for all workspace members

Workspace owners can now enforce that every session in their workspace must come through your connected identity provider — password-based logins are blocked at the door. Turning the requirement on is gated: your workspace must already have a verified SSO domain configured, and your own current session must be an SSO session, so you can never lock yourself out. Turning it off is always permitted.

18 Sept 2026IMPROVEDPRODUCT FEED

Each launch step now explains what is happening, who acts, and what comes next

Every stage in the launch wizard now tells you whether you need to do something or whether Magistry is working on your behalf, how long that stage normally takes, and what done looks like. Steps that run automatically say so explicitly, so you are never left waiting for a prompt that will not come.

18 Sept 2026NEWWORKSPACE

Restrict dashboard access to specific IP addresses

Workspace owners can now define an IP allowlist so that only requests from approved addresses or ranges can reach the dashboard. Ranges are validated against your current IP before saving, so you cannot accidentally lock yourself out. Removing a range is always permitted, giving you a way back if your network changes.

18 Sept 2026NEWWORKSPACE

Apply for agency access from your workspace settings

Workspaces can now submit an application for agency manager access directly from settings, instead of hitting a dead-end 'Coming soon' screen. If an application is declined, the reason is shown clearly and you can apply again. Approval unlocks the agency experience immediately while full provisioning follows the established sign-off process.

18 Sept 2026NEWBILLING

Billing-only and alerts-only seats for agency members

Agency owners can now give a team member access to invoices and billing without handing them the full client book, or add a member who receives report notifications without any store access at all. These two new seat types sit alongside existing store grants, and a seat holder cannot also hold a store grant — so access stays exactly as wide as intended with no extra steps.

18 Sept 2026NEWWORKSPACE

Record who controls data processing when connecting an agency

When you connect an agency to your store, you are now asked to record whether your store, the agency, or both jointly determine how customer data is processed. This answer is required at the moment you accept the connection, with no option pre-selected, so the record reflects your decision rather than a default. Links made before this change show "roles not recorded" until you update them.

17 Sept 2026NEWCATALOGSHOPIFY STORES

See and remove Magistry's automatic product picks before launch

The catalogue stage now lists every draft heading to your catalogue, showing whether you or Magistry chose it. You can remove any of Magistry's automatic picks before launch, and you can turn off automatic selection entirely if you prefer to choose every product yourself.

17 Sept 2026IMPROVEDCATALOG

Review your full launch catalogue in one sitting

When preparing a product launch, Magistry now requests exactly as many products as needed to reach your catalogue target in a single review session. Instead of approving batch after batch to fill your queue, you can work through all candidates at once and move straight to launch.

17 Sept 2026NEWCATALOGSHOPIFY STORES

See and remove Magistry's automatic draft picks before launch

The catalogue stage now shows every draft already queued for your launch, with a label indicating whether you or Magistry selected it. You can remove any of Magistry's automatic picks in one click, and a toggle lets you turn off automatic selection entirely if you prefer to choose every product yourself.
